Ahead of Carl Cox\u2019s hugely-anticipated new album, \u2018Electronic Generations\u2019, out October 28th, comes the release of \u2018Welcome To My World\u2019 \u2013 a hard hitting 4-track EP featuring a brand new track \u2018World Gone Mad\u2019, and previously unheard versions of \u2018Speed Trials on Acid\u2019, \u2018How It Makes You Feel\u2019, and \u2018See The Sun Rising\u2019.<\/p>\n

These are Carl\u2019s original tracks, as he created them for his album \u2013 a true representation of the sound of \u2018Electronic Generations.\u2019 Three of these have been released this year as \u2018pre-mixes\u2019, albeit in very different versions, reworked and reimagined in collaboration with some of Carl\u2019s favourite artists; \u2018Speed Trials on Acid\u2019 came out with Fatboy Slim, \u2018How It Makes You Feel\u2019 with Nicole Moudaber and most recently \u2018See The Sun Rising\u2019 with Franky Wah.<\/p>\n

These collaborations have played an important part in the lead up to the new album, but hearing the original tracks as Carl intended them to be heard is not only hugely enjoyable \u2013 it\u2019s also vital in understanding \u2018Electronic Generations\u2019 as a concept. \u2018Welcome To My World\u2019 is representative of Carl\u2019s unwavering passion for the advancement of club culture and his own growth as an artist. A purposeful step out of his comfort zone as an accomplished and innovative DJ and selector, into the exciting world of machine-driven live performance.<\/p>\n
